El arte de frontera en la música de Julio Estrada

Abstract

This article is an approach to the work of Julio Estrada, addressing his contribution to two fundamental fields of his production, the theoretical and the creative, with the emphasis on this duality which gives unity to his work across the different fields. A general analysis of both theoretic concepts and musical opus attempts to provide a basis for grasping his complex innovations as well as for appreciating the radicalism of his musical esthetics.
